Last year, I bought a reading chair and felt like it needed a foot stool to go along with it. In typical fashion I decided to make one instead of buy one. What fun is there in buying a stool when you can make one. Ok, I can't take full credit since I did buy a plain wooden stool but I needed to make some improvements before it could function to the purpose I intended.
I am pretty happy with how it turned out! Check it out! :)

| Started with a plain wood stool |
I found a sturdy wooden stool at Michaels for around 10.00. I already had the walnut stain from another project. Got some rags and went to town.

| Annnnnd this is what happens when you're klutzy and spill things. Oops! Heh... |
I went on a search for some heavy fabric and found some that I liked at my local Walmart. I also picked up a package of quilt batting at Michaels when I got my stool. A footstool can't be uncomfortable, people!
